Korakuen Garden
Korakuen is a Japanese garden (daimyo garden) located in Korakuen, Kita Ward, Okayama City, Okayama Prefecture, and is one of the three most famous gardens in Japan. Built by Tsunamasa Ikeda, the lord of the Okayama Domain, in the early Edo period, it is a garden that represents Genroku culture and has been designated as a special scenic spot of the country. The area is 14.4 ha.

Completed in 1700 by the lord of Okayama, Korakuen is one of Japan's Three Great Gardens — a spacious stroll garden of lawns, ponds and tea houses with Okayama Castle borrowed as scenery.
