Personal information
This site does not directly collect personally identifiable information such as names or email addresses, and does not require account registration or sign-in to browse. Third-party services described below (analytics and advertising) may collect data through cookies.
Cookies
We use functional cookies — a 'lang' cookie that remembers your language choice, and an admin session cookie used solely for the site administrator's login. Google Analytics also sets cookies for usage measurement (see Analytics below).
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how the site is used. GA4 sets cookies and collects anonymized usage data such as pages viewed, approximate region, device type, and referral source; we also measure clicks on outbound booking/affiliate links to see which options are useful. Third-party services
Pages embed YouTube videos; when you play a video, YouTube/Google may set cookies and collect data under Google's Privacy Policy. Maps use tiles from CARTO and data from OpenStreetMap. We have no control over these third parties' data practices.

This site links to external websites (e.g. YouTube channels, source articles). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of linked sites.
Data retention
This site does not operate its own database of visitor data. Usage data collected via Google Analytics is retained for up to 14 months and is then deleted automatically by Google. Server access logs kept by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting purposes are retained only for a short period.
Data protection and security
All traffic to this site is encrypted in transit using HTTPS (TLS). We do not sell, rent, or share visitor data with any third parties beyond the processors described above (e.g. Google). Administrative access to the site is restricted to the site operator and protected by authentication. Third-party processors protect data under their own security programs and privacy policies.
