Ninna-ji Temple is the head temple of the Omuro School of the Shingon Sect located in Omuro Ouchi, Ukyo Ward, Kyoto City. Its sango (literally, "mountain name") is Mt. Ouchi, and its principal image is Amida Nyorai. The founder is Emperor Uda. It is registered as a World Heritage Site as a constituent asset of the "Ancient Capital Kyoto Cultural Property".
