Glover Garden
The Glover Garden is a tourist facility located at 8-1 Minamiyamate-cho, Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan. It has been relocated to the site of the former residence of the Scottish merchant Glover, Ringer, and Orto, who came to Nagasaki after the opening of the port in 1859, and is in the state of an open-air museum. There are Western-style buildings such as the former Glover House, which is a constituent asset of the World Heritage "Meiji Japan's Industrial Revolution Heritage Steelmaking and Steelmaking, Shipbuilding, and Coal Industry" (all 23 assets). From October 1, 2004 to September 30, 2007, Nagasaki citizens were able to enter free of charge, but from October 1, 2007, citizens also required a regular fee.
