Hase-dera Temple
Hase-dera Temple is the head temple of the Toyoyama School of the Shingon Sect in Hase, Sakurai City, Nara Prefecture. Its sango (literally, "mountain name"), which is the title prefixed to the name of a Buddhist temple, is Toyoyama. His nickname was Kagura-in. The principal image is Eleven-faced Kannon (Eleven-faced Kanzeon Bosatsu). The founding of the mountain is said to be Domingo. Saigoku Sanjusansho No. 8 Fudasho.
