Togakushi Chūsha
The central shrine of Togakushi's five, Chūsha enshrines Ame-no-Yagokoro-Omoikane-no-Mikoto, a deity of learning, business and prosperity. Its grounds hold a 700-year-old triple cedar and a striking dragon ceiling painting, and the surrounding village is the hub of Togakushi's famous soba restaurants.
