Chureito Pagoda
The vermilion five-story Chureito Pagoda stands on the hillside of Arakurayama Sengen Park. Built in 1963 as a memorial to the war dead, it has become one of the most photographed sights in Japan — the pagoda, cherry blossoms and Mount Fuji aligning in a single iconic frame.
