Arima Onsen
Arima Onsen is a hot spring located in Arima-cho (Settsu Province), Kita Ward, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture. It was also counted among the three springs of pillow trees. In addition, in the Muromachi period, Marishuku, along with Kusatsu Onsen and Gero Onsen, were called "three famous springs", and in the Edo period, Rasan Hayashi also described these three hot springs as "three famous springs in the world" (three famous springs in Japan). In the Edo period, it was rated Nishi Ozeki, which was the highest rank at the time. It is adjacent to the area of Seto Inland Sea National Park.

Arima is among the oldest hot springs in Japan, mentioned in 8th-century chronicles and beloved by the warlord Toyotomi Hideyoshi. It is known for its iron-rich 'gold' water and clear 'silver' water.
